The University of Calgary’s Schulich School of Engineering is hosting its annual Design Fair on Tuesday, featuring 138 capstone projects by graduating students.
These projects, spanning mechanical, biomedical, and software engineering, offered practical solutions to real-world problems.
Memorable projects included a tricycle for children with mobility issues, an underground heating system for snow-free walkways, and a boot designed to improve traction during hip replacement surgeries.
The event, held in the Canadian Natural Resources Atrium, will be open until 5 p.m. Tuesday, with awards announced at 4 p.m.
