Students around SAIT are using their study skills to prepare for finals exams.
April marks the end of the semester for many students, and exam season is approaching.
Finals are coming up, and strong study skills are crucial. Replacing procrastination with dedication can be challenging for some, especially during the final weeks of school before the break.
Studying looks different for everyone, and students at SAIT have various methods to stay on top of their studies.
“I procrastinate a lot, but I always keep myself on track by setting goals – what I should finish first and how I should break up my tasks,” says Kelly Trang.
Other students have developed habits to stay on track, like studying in the morning, taking notes in class, or reaching out to tutors and classmates.
“Having a mission in your mind… like, I have to finish this for two hours. Otherwise, there’s nothing going on inside. I can’t digest what I’m studying,” says Mark Anthony Bagotolo.
Completing schoolwork can be a challenge, and some students might not have specific study methods. Another student at SAIT, Gurvir Purba, says, “I don’t have specific study habits, but we have to study, you know?”
All around SAIT, students are finding ways to improve their study skills as they prepare for the end of the semester.
