Flames Will Look to Remain Undefeated against Blackhawks

The Calgary Flames are hosting the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at 7 pm. They will try to stay undefeated to start the season by winning a fourth game in a row.

This strong start may be surprising for many supporters since the ESPN preseason rankings had the Flames finishing 27th in the league when it’s all said and done. Flames Jonathan Huberdeau is a big reason for the team’s early success. He has 5 points in 3 games, 3 of them being goals. The Flames have also scored at a 5.33 goal-per-game rate showing great offensive depth.

The Chicago Blackhawks will try to end their season-opening road trip on a high note. They only won 1 game out of 3, but Chicago is coming to Calgary with this season’s number-one-ranked powerplay.

Both teams are coming off a win against the Edmonton Oilers who started their season 0 and 3. Superstar Connor Bedard will try to spoil the party in Calgary, while the Flames will try to keep scoring at ease.
